Daniela Mosquera
My name is Daniela Mosquera Coronel. I was born in Ecuador in a city called Guayaquil. I grew up with a special interest in drawing, painting, and was always drawn towards arranging and creating physical spaces. I went to the School of Architecture at the Catholic University of Santiago of Guayaquil (UCSG) in my hometown, it was during that time that I became very interested in Interiors and decided to do a master degree on that. I have always felt I needed to broaden my horizons and explore the world out of my comfort zone and decided to take the challenge of obtaining my master’s degree in another language and in a world-renown University. That is why I enrolled at London Metropolitan University for their MA in Interior Design.
I chose the program because of its academic reputation and the whole experience was both fulfilling and inspiring. When I first started the cultural shock and distinctively different methodology from where I came from really changed me to a new way of thinking about architecture and interior spaces and I can’t wait to see the outcome of my Major project next year.
