Nadira Kazi
My name is Nadira Kazi, I have finished my 2nd year of studying BA (Hons) in Interior Design at The School of Art, Architecture and Design.
As a designer I like to focus on issues that have an impact on the world and try to resolve them through designing spaces, for example for this project I used plastic pollution. It is very disturbing to know how much plastic waste we produce and how we do not dispose of it correctly. Whilst doing research I found out 8 MILLION plastic enter the ocean each year, this has an impact on the environment and our food chain. I wanted to do something about this, so I used this project as an opportunity to create a space that will educate others about this issue and how they can reduce the use of plastic. My Overall expriance at Studio 04 has been amazing and I have enjoyed every process of it. It has challenged me to go out of my comfort zone by experminting with different spaces,methods and media.
