Art at London Metropolitan University comprises courses in Theatre Arts, Creative Writing and English Literature, Fine Art and Photography at UG and PG levels. For 2020/2021 we launch our MA in Public Art and Performance In association with Tate Exchange at Tate Modern.
In Art, we seek to engage in and produce work that provokes and challenges as well as reflects, to be active agents of transformation in a socially engaged community of artists. By engaging with professional artists across a range of disciplines, in collaborating with institutions and professional bodies, by focussing on inclusive pedagogic practice, we guarantee all our students a rich and rewarding educational experience.
Among the exciting possibilities presented by study at London Metropolitan University in Art, is the opportunity to apply for the British Council Venice Fellowships Scheme and to spend a month at the Venice Biennale, splitting your time between stewarding the British Pavilion exhibition and conducting site-specific research.
