Brochure for an Imaginary Event

The Brochure as an Imaginary Event (BIE) project aims to develop student's curating ability. Students work in teams to develop a fantasy exhibition of five objects in an intriguing location. Teams unveil their BIE concepts as a presentation accompanied by an A1 poster, which requires them to begin to articulate their curatorial intentions and consider the complexities of group exhibitions. Students are then freed to develop their individual Brochure Design which they submit as either a PDF brochure, via photos or a video.
