London Met Labs
Art, Architecture and Design Projects Office clinic launch
Liveness 2021 (Archive)
Art, Architecture and Design Projects Office was re-launched in April alongside two other London Met Labs: Injury and Rehabilitation Clinic and the London Met Pro Bono Legal Advice Clinic. We all provide services that are open to the public, offering cost effective or free services to deliver the University aims on giving back to our city and communities.
We are delighted to be contributing to the London Met Lab aim of empowering London through tackling social deprivation, environment and poverty and deprivation alongside our Art, Architecture and Design Challenge Champions Torange Khonsari (Course Leader for the Design for Cultural Commons courses) and Sian Moxon (Technical Co-ordinator: Sustainability).
Art, Architecture and Design Projects Office has been running since 2004, starting in North Campus at the school of Architecture and Spatial Design, and now encompassing Art, Architecture and Design in Aldgate. We work with the wide and diverse network of London Met connections, particularly with our local authorities Tower Hamlets and City of London Corporation, and keenly anticipate working with the other clinics and schools across the University. We are also particularly looking forward to clinics developing in other areas to support the University’s strategic aim on empowering London.
